If you know the score with inner cities then you'll know (and the Crime Stats will back you up) that where we are, close to Stockport Road, is just as safe as anywhere else in Manchester. And we’ve had no trouble in 6 years.
Most dangerous according to our Solicitor's research was the City Centre followed by Hulme with the rest being all much the same, including the apparently leafy Didsbury, wrongly credited with possessing an invisible fence that keeps all criminals away !!
But if you've not lived in an inner city in the UK before you probably will at least FEEL safer in a student hall of residence.
For everyone else we offer a lovely room in beautiful house with peaceful neighbours (including yes old people and children !) in a quiet cul de sac. It's a 2-minute walk to ASDA, Lidl, lots of shops and an open air market. More local shops and a Post Office are even closer. Frequent bus (192) will get you to town in 8 minutes or to the University in 5.
The house has had a recent total renovation and is fully furnished and spacious. There is off-road parking at the front and a large garden at the back.
Gas central heating, Bath and Shower, Washing machine. Fridge/freezer. Burglar alarm. Smoke alarms. TV (freesat) & DVD.
We’re looking for one person to share the house with me and one other although I’m mostly away at my partner’s house. The other is a quiet, tidy, easy-going male professional.
The supplement for Bills is fixed at £21 per week. So the total payable is £325 per calendar month (£75 per week) which includes all Bills except Internet (available for £5/month)

The minimum contract is for 6 months, payable one month in advance.. Should you then wish to stay longer it is renewable for one year at a time.
